Product & Proposal
The student's year-long research was placed into a product, which was analyzed by the proper audience to gauge the effectiveness of the product. Natsuki's audience was those involved or interested in public policy for gender equality. She gauged the effectiveness of the product by asking this audience (family friends and professionals) their thoughts on the product. She revised the product accordingly.
Natsuki decided to use a brochure format because she felt it was the most effective way to portray all of her knowledge concisely; only the most important information and findings were conveyed.
Finally, students were required to write a research proposal that spoke from a past perspective. It outlined their research idea, hypothesis, and action plan. Additionally, students explained what they planned to create for their product and how they planned to evaluate it. The proposal was signed off by the student's mentor and the G/T Research teacher.
